Well, let's just say forecasters don't have much confidence in his forecast.

Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow early on Saturday when he was awoken in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Yes, his means that Phil is predicting an early spring.

Unfortunately, however, New Jersey's groundhog (Milltown Mel) did see his shadow. That means he's predicting six more weeks of winter.

Of course, there are mixed predictions regarding weather in our area, right?

Having said that, we probably shouldn't be too excited that the world's most famous rodent didn't see his shadow. Analysis of his predictions has found that he is actually only right about 30% of the time.

So... Early spring? Who knows.

That being said, with temperatures in the 50s this upcoming week, it will certainly feel quite spring-like (especially after last week's cold outbreak).
