A Voorhees police officer left diner waitress, Courtney English (who's 8 months pregnant) a $100 tip during last Friday's lunch rush. Wow. She was stunned.

According the Courier Post, it happened on February 15th at the Lamp Post Diner in Clementon, NJ. The officer (who remains anonymous) went in for lunch, by himself, and was seated at Courtney's table. He must have overheard her telling another table that this was going to be her first child, because she didn't chat with the officer about her pregnancy. The diner was busy at the time, so Courtney didn't realize what had happened until after the officer left. She found the sweetest note on the check, along with the $100 tip. It read, "Enjoy ur first. You'll never forget it." Awwww.

Her father, Brian Cadigan, posted about the good deed on facebook, and the story has since gone viral. He said he posted about it to shed a positive light on police officers, in a time when there is so much negativity surrounding them. He revealed Courtney's gotten big tips before but, had never received such a heartfelt note. She cried "tears of joy."

The diner manager, Mark Patete, said that Courtney's been working hard to save as much money as she can before she goes out on maternity leave at the end of this month, therefore, the unexpected tip was a great gift.

I just love this story. It made me tear up. I'm such a mush. It's so nice to know there are still good people out there, especially police officers. Bravo to you, sir, whoever you are.
