Mike Trout Buys Lunch for Essential Workers

Mike Trout is from Millville New Jersey, and ever since he started playing Major League baseball, I've had a huge crush on him. He's married and has a baby on the way and I'm married and have a little baby boy, but hey, he's still one of my biggest celebrity crushes. Mike's baseball career has been put on hold for now due to the pandemic, and no one knows when or if it will start up again. He has a huge heart and loves giving back to his community, which is something that is very important during this coronavirus pandemic.

The Daily Journal reports, on Thursday, Mike Trout and his wife and his wife Jessica, treated staff members that work at a Shoprite in his hometown of Millville to pizza and soda. Last week, they also bought food for healthcare workers at Inspira Medical Center in Elmer.

It's awesome to see athletes and celebrities that make millions of dollars, do good deeds in this time of a global crisis. Kudos to the Trouts!
