Earlier this week, the Neshaminy School District announced in a post on its website that it is "committed to honoring the Class of 2020 with an in-person (graduation) ceremony."

According to the post, the Neshaminy School Board had approved a "date for the Neshaminy High School Commencement Ceremony of Saturday, June 27, 2020, at 11:00 am."

If large group restrictions are still in place at that time, the ceremony will be postponed until Saturday, Aug. 1.  If that date does not work, Saturday, Sept. 5 will be the next choice for the ceremony to take place.

According to
neshaminy.org, Neshaminy High School has approximately 2,500 students in grades 9-12.

In addition to the graduation announcement, the school district also announced that the school year for all students will end on Friday, June 12.
