The owner of the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft, has been charged with soliciting a prostitute in Florida.

Police say a warrant will be issued for his arrest because he is not a resident of Florida, according to police.

Detectives in Jupiter, Florida announced that charges had been filed against 25 men after an investigation centering on day spas in the area. WCVB-TV in Boston reports that the investigation began in October. It's believed that video surveillance was used as evidence in the case.

Kraft is facing two misdemeanor counts of solicitation based on two separate visits to the spa.

"We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity. Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further,” a spokesperson for Kraft said in a statement issued to NBC News.
