New Jersey was well-represented when the U.S. Women's National Team won their second straight FIFA Women's World Cup earlier today in Lyon, France.

Delran's Carli Lloyd and Basking Ridge's Tobin Heath were both part of the 2015 and 2019 World Cup winning teams.

Earlier this week, NJ.com reported that Lloyd was unhappy with her role as a "super-substitute" on this year's squad. Many people believe this was Lloyd's last World Cup tournament. Ironically, Lloyd was put in as a substitute for fellow New Jerseyan, Tobin Heath, in the 87th minute of the championship match.

Heath was captured in the following tweet celebrating her team's win.  (She's #17).
