It’s been known as one of the biggest Christmas displays in the entire state in years past, so we were all disappointed when the event had to be significantly scaled back over the past two years because of permitting issues.

Well, we’re excited to learn that the iconic Christmas display known as The Christmas Light Show in Wall Township will return for 2019. The event’s organizers just made the announcement on Facebook this morning (Friday, October 25).

Organizers say it will be an “all-new show” at a “new location” as they celebrate Christmas on December 7 and December 14.

The show, which used to take place at a private residence in town, will now take place at the all-new McCanns at Spring Meadow Golf Course. The shows are scheduled for Saturday, December 7 and Saturday, December 14. The displays will take place at 6:30 and 8:30 pm both nights.

I have seen these displays in years past, and they are incredible. The videos of their shows have even gone viral across the globe, but there’s nothing like seeing it in person. Trust me.

The display started in 2005, and it was led by Daniel Brateris (of the company dj Dan) along his brother Brian and their friend Matt Pinnella.

We promise the show will have all the charm, amazement, and community feel as the shows from the last 11 years,” the organizers said on Facebook.

The shows, by the way, are free to attend (as they’ve always been), but organizers encourage donations to RallyCap Sports. RallyCap Sports is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing recreational sports for children and young adults with special needs.
