I am proud to say that I was a girl scout when I was younger, and let me tell you, I sold a ton of cookies! Back when I was a girl scout, you were still able to sell cookies door to door, as long as your parents went with you. So between my parents selling them at work, and me selling them door to door, I got my cookie badge in no time!

Cookie selling was also a huge hit because cookies were only sold certain times of the year, so people would stock up! We just found out that Aldi is selling some cookies all year long, that are supposed to taste like the ones the girl scouts sell. The flavors that they offer are fudge mint (supposed to taste like thin mints), peanut butter filled (supposed to taste like their peanut butter sandwiches), and caramel coconut fudge cookies (supposed to taste like caramel de lites).

We have not tasted them yet, but next week when I go to Aldi, I will definitely pick them up! They're also way cheaper than the real girl scout cookies. The real ones will cost you about $3.50 and the ones at Aldi cost $1.39 and $1.45. So if you're one of those people who eat off brands, you will love this new deal at Aldi on girl scout cookies!
