One Killed, Two Injured in Hamilton Township Accident

An accident in Hamilton Township claimed the life of a township resident and injured two others earlier this evening (December 27), according to television reports.

Police say that 53-year-old Michael McCoy was driving east on Youngs Road around 5:15 pm. The vehicle he was driving crossed the median and hit a Lexus, 6ABC reports.

The crash, which remains under investigation at this hour, happened in the area of Lawrence Station Road.

McCoy was killed in the accident. WPVI-TV reported that juvenile passenger who was in McCoy's vehicle and the driver of the Lexus were being treated for non-life-threatening injuries Thursday evening.
