Samantha Josephson got into a vehicle she thought was the Uber she called. It wasn't, and she paid with her life. Now, her parents are taking their message of ride-sharing safety to Good Morning America.

The 21-year-old's parents will appear on GMA Monday morning between 7:25-7:35 a.m., according to 6abc.com, to profess a message of ride-sharing safety measures.

Josephson, a native of Robbinsville, New Jersey, was a student at University of South Carolina when she called for an Uber on March 29. But she mistakenly got into the vehicle of Nathaniel David Rowland, who has been charged with her murder.

The South Carolina House Legislature recently a bill called the "Samantha L. Josephson Ridesharing Safety Act", which will make it easier for Uber and Lyft users to verify their rides.
