UPDATE: The Newtown Patch has said all PA Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties will be closing until further notice, starting Tuesday, March 17th. The closure will be done in phases. All stores that are normally open on Sunday, will have regular operating hours on March 15th. Only select stores will open in Monday, March 16th (see the list here), and on Tuesday, all stores will be closed and stay closed until further notice.

This is a stressful time for all of us, so we're glad to hear this one piece of good news:

Despite a slew of closings across all industries, it appears as if we'll all be able to drink.

Pennsylvania's Governor Tom wolf revealed to reporters Friday night that the state's liquor stores will stay open (for now).

The governor was asked if the state government's run liquor stores would stay open during this time, and the governor revealed that they have not considered closing those stores.

"We haven't closed any state stores at this point," Wolf said. "I don't know whether we consider that ... this is a somber time. We're trying. Try to be serious here."
