Many people are very concerned about their weight so they try to make sure they stay at a good healthy weight. We all want to make sure we stay nice and healthy, especially with the COVID-19 pandemic still being a thing in the world 2 years later.

Mindbody Business recently shared the list of "Top 10 Healthiest Cities in America in 2022" and none of the nearby cities made the top 10 list. There was another list shared that had a total of 50 different major cities in that country and that was the "Mindbody Wellness Index Rankings" and Philadelphia did not rank well on that.

According to Mindbody Business, Philadelphia is the 13th least healthy city in the country. The Mindbody Wellness Index Rankings list has some of the biggest cities in the country on it.

It was stated on Mindbody Business that the rankings were based on "well-being, factoring in various dimensions of wellness." Here is the full list of categories that were used to create the Mindbody Wellness Index rankings.

  • How much residents exercise
  • How stressed they are
  • The amount of rest they get
  • How many of them smoke
  • How much alcohol they drink
  • Their body mass index
  • How close they are to friends and family
  • How connected they feel to their communities
  • Whether they feel spiritually fulfilled

Just by looking at that list, I can tell you a few things that residents of the City of Brotherly Love enjoy doing and that is drinking and partying which causes us to lack sleep. Can those two really affect Philadelphians enough to be called unhealthy?

Another point on the list that really proves that Philadelphians are a little unhealthy is that they are always stressed. Yes, always stressed because the Philadelphia sports teams can't get it together and end up stressing out everyone in the city.

Here is the list of the Top 10 Healthiest Cities in America.

  1. Miami, FL
  2. Los Angeles, CA
  3. San Diego, CA
  4. Atlanta, GA
  5. Washington, DC
  6. San Francisco, CA
  7. San Jose, CA
  8. Austin, TX
  9. Seattle, WA
  10. Raleigh, NC

Looks like California is quite healthy with multiple cities on the top 10 list.
