The annual Philadelphia Zoo's Summer Ale Festival is happening late this month.

Its definitely a totally different way to experience the zoo.

One great thing about it, is that the proceeds of this annual event actually go to benefiting the animals at the zoo.

The beer fest is scheduled for Saturday, June 22nd between 7pm - 10pm.

If you plan on attending, you're in for a treat.

Looks like there will be tons of local craft beers to choose from.

According to patch.com, "More than 70 breweries, such as Goose Island, Neshaminy Creek, Tröegs, Evil Genius and Bell's, will pour unlimited samples for attendees. There will be more than 120 craft beers and ciders available to taste, making this the biggest Summer Ale Festival, yet."

Very cool.

Of course you won't be left on an empty stomach. There will be numerous food trucks to order from as well as a DJ and bands playing music. That's one cool way to browse the animal exhibits and enjoy the zoo.

Tickets will run you $65 for general admission.
