Scoops ‘n’ Swirls Announces Season Reopening

Local favorite, Scoops 'n' Swirls, in the Manors Shopping Center on Lawrenceville Pennington Road in Lawrence, will be reopening for the season on Friday, March 29th, according to their Facebook.

Yippee! It's been a long winter without them (and all of our favorite shops for frozen treats)..

Spring is that fun time of year when you start to see your favorite seasonal places come to life again, and Scoops 'n' Swirls is definitely one of my favorites.

Scoops 'n' Swirls has been family owned and operated since August 2016. The owners, locals Renard and Erica Smoots (Erica is a fellow Lawrence High alum), seem to always be giving back to our community as they host fundraisers for local groups. If you're interested in holding a fundraiser there, check out their website for details.

Make sure you stop by starting March 29th. Their season usually runs until the holidays.

If you can't wait until March 29, don't worry. At least Rita's and Dairy Queen have already opened their doors across our area.
