Have you seen an offer on Facebook that appears to be offering “free” tickets to Pennsylvania's Hersheypark in exchange for completing a survey?

Yeah, it’s too good to be true. Don’t believe it.

Hersheypark officials are warning about a ticket scam that is spreading on social media. The theme park told the media that the offer APPEARS to offer four free passes to mark the park’s 112th anniversary. The offer claims that all the user needs to do is take a short survey and share it on Facebook.

The survey link actually takes users to a link that is NOT on the Hersheypark website.

... It's not true.

Hersheypark has notified Facebook about the scam. They say the only place they’ll make offers available is on their website or their official social media pages.

It's not clear who originated the scam, but It appears as if the survey has removed. Of course, lingering shares could still allow the content to appear on your social media feed.
