SEPTA Job Fair to Hire More Women

On Saturday June 22^nd, SEPTA will be holding a job fair to hire more women in trade and technical fields. According to SEPTA, the event, Women Building SEPTA – Trades & Technical Career Fair, will give experienced women information about the different career paths they can pursue at SEPTA. According to SEPTA, the event will also provide interview and job-preparation tips for participants.

The Bucks County Courier Times explains that most positions hiring require at minimum one year of work experience that corresponds with mechanics, amongst other skills.

SEPTA’s website mentions that all jobs at the job fair require a valid driver’s license and either a high school diploma or GED.

The job fair is held at SEPTA Headquarters, 1234 Market Street Lobby, Philadelphia, PA 19107. It is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. SEPTA says pre-registering for the event is encouraged. However, the Bucks County Courier Times states that walk-ins will be accepted.
