The children's show Sesame Street has been around since the late 60's and has only gotten better as the years have gone on. I mean, come on! Who doesn't remember sitting in front of the t.v. watching Sesame Street as a kid? With it's famous fuzzy and feathered characters, it was definitely one of my favorites! Various celebrities have even made appearances on the show, including Former First Lady Michelle Obama.

The next best thing to being on Sesame Street, is visiting Sesame Place in Oxford Valley It's such an awesome place to see all those favorite characters, ride Sesame Street themed rides and enjoy the day with family. According to The Patch, there's a new Street opening today (May 31st) at Sesame Place and to celebrate they're having some special guests stop by! Sonia Manzano and Alan Muraoka, who were both on the show for many years, will be there as soon as the park opens at 11am this morning! There are also special performances happening today only as well!

This is also Sesame Place's 50th Anniversary, so make sure you get in on the fun at some point this summer with special ticket sales and events.Check out Sesame Place's website or The Patch for more info.
