Shawn Mendes is Performing a Free Concert in Philly for the Eagles!

I just found out that Shawn Mendes will play a special show in our area to kick off the NFL season.

Yeah, Shawn will perform on Penn's Landing (near Market St. and Columbus Blvd) in Philadelphia on September 6th at 6 pm. The free show will be open to the public.

In fact, NBC 10 will show the concert on TV at 7 pm that night. It is the kick off the NFL and Philadelphia Eagles football season. The birds are playing the Falcons at the Linc that night, and that game is serving as the official kickoff of the 2018 NFL season. That game will start at 8:20 pm that night.

That's the way it works: the reigning Super Bowl champs play on their home turf to start the season.
