Actor and comedian George Takei will be making an appearance at the State Theater in New Brunswick, NJ in June.

The former Sci-Fi star has gained popularity for being a funny social media star and an LGBT advocate.

"An Evening With George Takei" will be held on June 20th. The State Theater's website says “Takei shares the story of his family’s forced internment as Japanese Americans during WWII — a seemingly forgotten part of American history."

Takei's appearance is part of  LGBTQ Pride Month, according to the theater (which is housed in New Brunswick). Takei is a passionate and dedicated advocate for LGBTQ rights and marriage equality in the U.S.

The show will be pretty affordable. As you can grab two premium tickets for $89 which includes a meet and greet with George.
