An outdoor summer movie series is kicking off this weekend in Lambertville, according to Community News, and it sounds like fun.

The series is being called the "Park in" Movie Series, and it will be similar to a drive in movie experience. The location is the Music Mountain Theatre parking lot. Family friendly movies will be shown every Friday and Saturday night, starting this Friday, June 19th and going through Saturday, August 8th.

The first movie on the schedule is "Harriet." It's the story of Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad (a portion of the proceeds from this movie's ticket sales will go to the American Civil Liberties Union). Other movies will be Toy Story 4, Avengers: End Game, Frozen 2, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and more. You'll be able to hear the movie on your FM car radio. If you don't want to leave your car running through the whole movie, you can bring a radio, or you can download an FM radio app.

Tickets are very limited, so don't hesitate. It's $25 per car, and the lot will open at 8pm on movie nights. There will be a cash only concession stand and the bathrooms in the theatre lobby will be open.

Everyone is being asked to stay in their car during the entire event. If getting out for concessions or to go to the bathroom, please have a face mask to wear and maintain social distance from others. The cars will be socially distanced in the parking lot as well.

Music Mountain Theatre is located at 1483 Route 179, Lambertville, NJ.
