The Grand Opening of ‘Sports Book’ is Thursday At Parx Casino

Parx Casino is celebrating their new 'Sports Book' expansion tomorrow.

Parx Casino wasted zero time expanding their casino when sports betting was approved in PA last fall.

They immediately allowed sports betting at a temporary location inside the casino and in the mean time quickly built a $10 million expansion.

Now, less then a year later the grand opening of Parx's new sports book will take place tomorrow, Thursday August 8th at 3pm.

You know this expansion has got to be amazing because that casino is just beautiful.

According to patch.com, "the new sports book will be a 7,400-square-foot space featuring a 156-foot, high-definition media wall that can show up to 36 games at the same time."

Yes, like I said ... this place has got to be super legit. I mean the addition was $10 million.

Patch.com says other features of the sports book will be "six live tellers, 18 kiosks, 200 seats, three VIP areas and a 38-foot by 14-foot bar with 38 seats and a four-tier light design hanging from above."
