The reopening of Alexander Street in Princeton and West Windsor has been postponed, according to Planet Princeton.

I guess this news could be worse if people were still actually commuting to their jobs, like they used to, pre-coronavirus. But, since many are working from home for the time being, this shouldn't affect a large number.

The aritcle says the opening of Alexander Street between Lawrence Drive in Princeton and Canal Pointe Boulevard in West Windsor will only be postponed by about 10 days. It should be reopening by the end of April.

The road's been closed since fall and caused quite a headache for commuters until they figured out a new route.

Deanna Stockton, the head engineer for the municipality of Princeton, said, “Contractors have made tremendous progress. They have done a lot of work to move the projects ahead, but they’ve faced delays with some of the underground utility work.”
