The coronavirus is rampaging through the United States like never before. Almost everyone had been bitten by the Omicron bug leaving people sick, out of work, and financially burdened.

Its been made clear that there aren't any federal stimulus checks coming our way in the near future. However, individual states have stepped up to help their residents in this time of need. And if you live in one of these 10 cities or states, you're in luck! This month you have a stimulus payment coming your way. Alaska, Pittsburgh, Colombia, Chicago, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Newark, Rochester, California, and Durham are all distributing aid of some sort to those in need.

That's right. If you live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and fit into the low-income category, you may qualify to get $500 a month in payments for two years, according to The Sun.

Same thing for all of you New Jerseyians. If you live in Newark, you could be one of the 400 residents who will also be receiving money for the next two years. According to The Sun, some residents will receive $250 payments biweekly. Others will be receiving two payments of $3,000 that will be broken up each year.

Considering how schools are reclosing and companies are shutting down again because of the surge in coronavirus cases, more than just 10 cities and states should be providing relief to people.
