An SUV crashed into a condominium building in Northeast Philly on Monday afternoon injuring two women who were passengers in the vehicle.

Police tell NBC 10 the vehicle crashed into the Bakers Bay Condominiums on the 5100 block of Convent Lane just before 4 pm on Monday. Two women in the car were hospitalized in stabilized condition late Monday afternoon, suffering leg and arm injuries.

NBC10 reported that the damaged wall of the condo could be at risk of collapsing, so officials are on the scene investigating the structural integrity.

The cause of the crash was not immediately clear. It also was not clear if anyone was home in that condo unit at the time of the crash.
