Cardi B Leaves Fashion Week Party With Lump Above Eye After Altercation with Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B’s feud has reached new heights. The two rappers appeared to be involved in a physical altercation at a party last night (Friday, September 7).

The incident took place during the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party, which is a part of the festivities for New York Fashion Week.

Videos surfaced overnight that show a scuffle between the two rappers, but beyond that details are sketchy.

In fact, the exact details about the fight seem to vary based on who you ask.

PEOPLE.com's sources allege that Cardi arrived at the party first and that the altercation took place on the second-floor balcony as Christina Aguilera performed.

An additional report from Cosmo says that Nicki deliberately stepped on Cardi’s train. Then it’s believed that Cardi B “lunged” at Nicki, and the scuffle involved both of the entourages.

Meanwhile, TMZ's reporting varies a little bit because it says that the incident started at a table.

Cardi took to Instagram with a statement that we assume is directed at Nicki, but you can read for yourself.

"When you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are [expletive] off," Cardi wrote on Instagram overnight.
