Embiid (16/1) is one of the favorites along with Suns guard Devin Booker (11/2) and Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo (6/1), who are the top two favorites to win the Finals MVP honor.

Embiid’s teammate, James Harden comes in with 40/1 odds to win Finals MVP, Tyresse Maxey has 55/1 odds and Tobias Harris is set at 125/1 per BetOnline.

Embiid had a dominating regular season, leading the NBA with 30.6 points and grabbing  11.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.5 blocks per game.

He registered 13 double-doubles with at least 40 points scored and had 45 double-doubles overall this season.

For Embiid to win the award, they will have to go through an Eastern Conference playoff path that includes the No. 5 seeded Toronto Raptors, the winner of the Hawks-Heat series and whoever is left standing between, the Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks Chicago Bulls and the Brooklyn Nets.

On the Western Conference side, Phoenix is the favorite, but Memphis and Golden State could be dangerous.
