What’s Up With That “Pups In Pajamas” Billboard?
Over the weekend, I was driving on the PA Turnpike and noticed a billboard with a picture of two dogs dressed in pajamas. The text on the board said "Pups In Pajamas @PhillyDogMom." There was no product advertised. Just the picture and the text. So I was curious... what did it mean?
It made me curious. Who is @PhillyDogMom? Was she the person who purchased space on the billboard? And was she advertising a product? A company? Or just her Instagram account? So I looked up @PhillyDogMom on Insta and most of the posts were pictures of these 2 adorable pups. Now, I was even more curious, so I emailed the owner of the account.

It turns out the woman who is @PhillyDogMom, along with her own mother (that would be @PhillyDogMom's mom) created their own outdoor advertising company called Artdoor Media.
Artdoor is an independent company that focuses on "making viewer's commutes more artful."
As for the pups, their names are Jax and Ram and @PhillyDogMom says she has joked for years about running an ad featuring her dogs and when the opportunity came about, she decided to use it as a "case study on the effectiveness of (Out-Of-Home advertising) for social media."
Well, it definitely worked on me.
