Yeah, It Looks Like Instagram & Facebook Are Down

UPDATE: As of 5:45 pm, this appears to be improving.

It's the last piece of bad news we need during the pandemic, but if you're having trouble accessing Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp you are not alone.

Many users (ourselves included) have reported that images across both platforms are not loading correctly. We first noticed this around 5:15 pm ET.

In fact, as of 5:30 pm, access to these apps (all owned and operated by Facebook) appeared to be sporadic at best.

Facebook has not publicly commented on the issue, but we'll let you know what we hear.

In the meantime, how will we survive without them during quarantine?
