Saturday (May 18) is the big day! New Hope will once again celebrate PrideFest tomorrow, and of course, that means you should expect traffic delays and street closures in both New Hope, Pa., and Lambertville, NJ.

Here's what you need to know if you'll be in the area or you're attending as a spectator (or parade participant). After all, it's estimated that 15,000 visitors will attend the festivities.

PARADE ROUTE:

The parade gets underway around 11:30 am in Lambertville. It will cross the bridge before ending at Main and Waterloo Street in New Hope.

It’s estimated that the parade itself will end around 12:45 pm, but the fair and other activities will continue all day and evening.

SPECTATORS:

The general public can view the parade anywhere along the route. Guest announcers will be located at these three staging locations and announce parade participants as they go by.

These are the staging areas, which are shown in the map above:

  • Stage One: The Lambertville House, Bridge St., Lambertville, NJ
  • Stage Two: The Cannon on Main St., New Hope, PA (in front of the Logan Inn on Ferry St)
  • Stage Three: Presented by Le Château Exotique, 97 S Main St, New Hope PA

NEW HOPE ROAD CLOSURES:

As a result, many roads in New Hope will be closed at approximately 11:00 am, and those streets won’t re-open until the parade is over. Most of the road closures will be centered in and around West Bridge Street and Main Street. You can view a complete list of street closures in the area by clicking here.

LAMBERTVILLE ROAD CLOSURES:

Road closures in Lambertville will get underway as early as 9 am, and you can view a list here of those closures. No parking will be allowed between 10 am and 1:30 pm on Bridge Street from Union to Lambert Lane.
