Facebook, Instagram & WhatsApp Report Sunday Morning Outages

If you’ve had issues with Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp this morning, you’re not alone.

Facebook’s website has been intermittently not loading for using. Additionally, we’ve seen reports on TheVerge.com that most users on Instagram have been seeing a “couldn’t refresh feed” message. The issues appeared to start around 6:30 am ET.

“We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps,” a Facebook spokesperson told The Verge. “We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.”

Facebook, of course, owns and operates both WhatsApp and Instagram.

It appears as if some of the outages were restored around 9 am, but as is often the case with technology, we’d guess that it’s at least is possible that the outages may linger later into the day.
