Fatal Accident Reported on Turnpike in Robbinsville Wednesday Morning

One person was killed in a tractor-trailer accident took place this morning on the New Jersey Turnpike.

Police say that the truck overturned onto an embankment around 6:45 am this morning on the ramp at exit 7A in Robbinsville.

There were two occupants in the truck, according to authorities. They say that one of the occupants died and another was hospitalized after the crash. Their condition was not immediately made clear.

Traffic backed up in the area as passersbys looked at the accident scene. The left lane was closed on the ramp as well, as authorities cleaned up the scene.
