Grand Opening Set for Axe Throwing in Lawrence

The wait is almost over. The Grand Opening of Bury the Hatchet, the new axe throwing place in the Lawrence Shopping Center, will be this Thursday, February 28th. This is a day earlier then they anticipated, because they want to be able to host a full weekend of bookings. Thursday's grand opening will be a free open house, so you can go check out the new facility and meet the staff. There will be free food and drinks too.

You can book an alley on their website. It looks like there is a maximun of 12 people per alley (no one under 14 is allowed), and if you have a smaller group (less than 9), you may be paired with other small groups.

It's BYO, meaning beer, wine, and food. They ask that you don't bring any hard liquor. Oh, and they ask that you wear closed toed shoes. Yikes. Don't drop an axe.
