Halloween Themed Bars Coming To Philadelphia
We're so hyped for Halloween and it looks like midtown in Philly is going to be the place to be for Halloween themed bars.
According to Phillymag.com there will be not one, but two Halloween themed bars popping up in Midtown Village this Fall. You might recognize the Midtown Village area for its Christmas themed bar Tinsel, which made a debut at a former jewelry store at 116 South 12th street. The newest addition, Nightmare before Tinsel, will be in the same location and is set to open in early October according to Phillymag.com.
Scott Johnson, an artist from the area, will be decorating the bar with haunted house decor and there will even be a room with 1,001 eyes. Even though it is somewhat unknown what exactly 1,001 eyes is, we definitely want to see that for ourselves. It is not necessary you wear a costume, but Halloween only comes once a year, so why not get in the spirit?
Speaking of spirits, Philly Mag mentioned that there will be both beer and cocktails inspired by the fall months.
With the same concept, another Halloween bar, Haunt, is set to open on October 3rd and will remain open for a whole month. If Tinsel gets too packed, there’s always Haunt right around the corner on the second floor of Pearl Tavern at 1123 Chestnut Street.
