Here’s How to get a Free Popeyes Chicken Sandwich on Leap Day

Leap Day is upon us and you know what that means?   Free chicken sandwiches!  Ok, so you maybe didn’t know that the day meant that, but who cares it’s a free chicken sandwich.

Popeyes will be giving away their loved sandwiches to celebrate this once in a four year day.  Customers are asked to make a minimum purchase of $15 from Popeyes via Postmates from Feb. 24 through Feb. 28, with at least one order being a chicken sandwich.

In doing this, the customer will receive a code that will gift them with a free chicken sandwich when Feb. 29 rolls around.  According to Business Insider, the code will only be valid on Leap Day.

"Leap Day only comes around every four years so what better way to help Postmates customers celebrate an extra day with a little extra chicken from our great partners at Popeyes," Brandon Teitel, senior vice president of brand strategy for Postmates, told Business Insider in an email.
