Parents, students, and faculty will notice an increased police presence at Bensalem High School tomorrow (May 30). Officials, however, say there is NO credible threat against the high school at this time.

A message threatening gun violence on tomorrow was discovered in a boys restroom at the high school around 12:30 pm today, the school district confirmed in a message posted on their website.

The message was immediately investigated by the local police who deemed the threat to be NOT credible. However, they say "out of an abundance of caution, there will be an increased police presence" at the school tomorrow (May 30).

"The safety and security of students and staff is always our number one priority," the district wrote online this afternoon.
