Was it you? 2 New Jersey supermarket shoppers splitting $1.1 million lottery jackpot
Two people in New Jersey don't have to worry about clipping coupons for the foreseeable future.
That's because they're splitting a lottery jackpot worth more than $1.1 million.
Officials with the New Jersey Lottery said two lucky tickets matched all five Jersey Cash 5 numbers drawn on Monday, March 11th, splitting the $1,108,388 jackpot.
We did the math — each ticket is worth $554,194, before taxes, of course.
Winning Jersey Cash 5 Numbers
The winning numbers were 08, 22, 25, 33 and 35 and the XTRA number was 02.
Lucky Locations
One winning ticket was sold at Stop & Shop on Route 35 in Middletown, Monmouth County.
The other was sold at ShopRite on Prospect Avenue in West Orange, Essex County.
Each store will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling those winning tickets.
