Mac and Cheese Lovers – You Have To Try This Restaurant

I love mac and cheese, so I was shocked when I realized that there was a restaurant in Philly dedicated to this delicious dish.  Mac Mart is located on S. 18th Street and it offers over 20 varieties of mac and cheese.

According to the restaurant's website, Mac Mart started as a food truck on the campus of Drexel University.

Due to the success of the truck, as well as event catering, owner Marti Lieberman opened the restaurant in 2016.

After taking a look at the menu, here are a few of my favorites:

• BBQ in a Bowl --- "Classic Mac topped with BBQ chicken chunks, cornbread crunch & a BBQ drizzle"

• Wit Mac --- "Classic Mac topped wit Philly steak, caramelized onions, potato-chip panko crunch, and a ketchup drizzle"

• Crabby Mac --- "Classic Mac topped with creamy cheese & jumbo lump crabmeat dip, Old Bay potato-chip panko crunch"

• Margherita Mac --- "Classic Mac topped with shredded mozzarella, diced tomatoes, fresh basil, and potato-chip panko crunch"

• Mac 'n Tots --- "Classic Mac topped with crispy tater tots, potato-chip panko crunch, and finished with a ketchup drizzle"
