Shots were fired outside of a Holiday Inn Express in Falls Township (Bucks County) around 1 am Sunday morning, multiple outlets report.

The victim is currently in "grave condition," according to reporting from Philadelphia's NBC 10.

It is believed that the suspect fled, but police have not released a description of the gunman. When police arrived on the scene, LevittownNow.com is reporting that they discovered a large group of people outside of the hotel.

The hotel is located on Cabot Bouvard near Oxford Valley Road.

Some of the hotel's windows were also reportedly shattered in the incident. In fact, photos posted exclusively to LevittownNow.com show the extensive damage to the glass of the hotel's front doors. They estimate that there were more than 40 evidence markers outside of the hotel earlier today.

Footage from the scene showed that heavy police presence remained in the immediate area early Sunday morning.

This is a developing story. We'll have more details when they're made available.
