N.J. Man Backs Car into Neighbor’s House
On Sunday morning, two residents of Manchester suffered minor injuries when their neighbor accidentally reversed his car into the front of their house.
The driver, who did not have any injuries, said that when he went to put his car from reverse to drive, “it began accelerating uncontrollably in reverse.”
The car ended up halfway through the wall of the house’s bedroom. The couple, 70 and 72 years old, were on the other side of the room, so thankfully they weren’t severely hurt and only suffered minor injuries.
The couple were treated for their injuries at the Ocean Medical Center in Brick.
The 55 year old driver wasn’t charged, and the incident is still under investigation.
