Name and Opening Date Announced for New Robbinsville Sports Bar

The name of the future Sports Bar on Route 130 in Robbinsville has been announced, and an opening date, according to Community News.

The name will be simple: Robbinsville Grille and Bar, Community News reports. The demolition of some of the old USA Country Diner should be finished by Labor Day, so the new construction can begin. They're using some of the existing framework and foundation, but they'll need new plumbing and some electrical work.

I'm sure locals are excited. I don't live that far away, and I'm excited.

Two of the five owners (they're all family) live in Robbinsville and call it a "passion project." They all love sports and wanted a local place to go to eat and drink with friends....and of course, watch sporting events. Expect sports memorabilia to decorate the walls, and plenty of TVs to watch the games of the day.

As for an opening date, the owners say they hope the new restaurant will be open in time for the Super Bowl LIV in 2020. That is scheduled for February 2, 2020.
