Poppy's Greengrocer is opening in New Hope this spring. They'll be located at 415 York Road, in the same strip mall as Jamie Hollander Gourmet Foods and Catering.

Never heard of it? It's an independently owned grocery store, not a part of a big chain. The owners promise that it's not going to be your average grocery store.

According to The Newtown Lambertville Patch it will become Pennsylvania's first Certified B-Corp Grocery Store. They'll be working with local farmers to provide lots of local products...I love hearing that...it'll be like a big local farm stand. They'll have lots of other organic products, grass-fed beef, sustainbly caught seafood, sustainable home goods, and so much more.

There will also be a Snack Bar, with a wood fired oven, called, "Poppy's Snack Bar," serving pizza, homemade breads and bagels, local coffee, and more.

Poppy's Greengrocers will also have a "zero-waste pantry program." If you don't know what that is, they'll run classes and pop-up events to teach everyone about it and its benefits.

Get excited, New Hope....a great new option in town.
