New Jersey's Indoor Ski Facility Has an Opening Date

It feels like we've been waiting forever for the new American Dream mall at the Meadowlands to open. Earlier this year, we got an opening date for some of the stores and attractions and now, we've got the official grand opening date for Big SNOW, the mall's indoor ski facility.

According to a press release, Big SNOW will officially open on Thursday, Dec. 5. Here's how the release describes Big SNOW:

"North America’s first indoor, real-snow ski and snowboard center providing guests with year-round winter indoors."
Big SNOW is "a 180,000 square foot, 16 story, climate-controlled ski slope."
"4 acres of snow-covered slopes, a 160-foot vertical drop, a graduated degree of pitch ranging from 0% at the base to 26% at its steepest point and 1,000 feet of length for skiers of all ages and skill levels to take advantage of all serviced by 4 surface and aerial lifts."
"Temperature inside the center will remain a constant 28-degrees Fahrenheit, ensuring a consistent and optimal snow condition year-round."
