Pet Friendly Dog Festival Coming to Philly

PAWS, also known as Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, is hosting their 13th annual "Mutt Strut" this month.

The Mutt Strut is a perfect opportunity to take your dog out on a nice day and enjoy a group walk. There will even be a pet photo booth, agility course and costume contest.

Don't worry; there's activities for the humans, too: games, raffles, food trucks, and live music!

Mutt Strut will be held at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia on Saturday, October 26th starting at 11am.

PAWS's goal for this years' event is to raise $125,000, according to phillyvoice.com.

Dog lovers, unite!

If you don't have a furry friend of your own, you can rent a PAWS dog for the day for $100.

If you are bringing your own dog, there is a $25 registration fee.

The rain date for the event will be the following day, Sunday October 27.
