I love how Meek Mill never forgets where he came from. He gives back to the city of Philadelphia more than any celebrity from here. For Christmas, he put together a toy drive for families in the city to make sure that every kid in the area had something under the tree. Now he is back at it again, and this time he teamed up with Kevin Hart and Michael Rubin who also have Philly roots.

According to CBS Philly, these three celebrities are donating $115 million to 110 schools in Philadelphia. This money will not only benefit the schools, but it will benefit thousands of students who come from low-income families. It isn't public knowledge exactly which schools will be receiving the money. However, there is an estimated 339 schools in the city, which means nearly half of them will be benefiting from this donation.

Meek Mill and Michael Rubin are no strangers to helping out Philly schools. They did the same thing two years ago. According to CBS Philly, they donated around 2 million dollars. Now they are back at it and they are giving away more than ever before.

There is no word what the money is going to be used for, but I can assume it will help with school supplies for the kids, books, and other necessities they need to make it through the school year.
