If you're looking for something fun to do this holiday season, head to Princeton. The Princeton Garden Theatre is having screenings of holiday movies, according to their website.

The two movies are family friendly, and one may argue that they are two of the best holiday movies ever made.

First up is Elf, starring Will Ferrell. I have to admit, even though it came out in 2003, I didn't see it until recently, but, absolutely loved it, and now watching it is an annual tradition for my family. Show date and time is this Saturday, December 21st at 10:30am. Tickets are only $5, and it's free for members and their children. If you haven't seen it, the desciption on the theatre's website is, "After inadvertently wreaking havoc on the elf community due to his ungainly size, a man raised as an elf at the North Pole is sent to the U.S. in search of his true identity." It's so fun.

The 2nd one is the holiday classic, The Polar Express (2004), starring the voice of Tom Hanks, based off the well known and loved children's book by Chris Van Allsburg. If you don't know it, the theatre's website gives this description: "A young boy embarks on a magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express. During his adventure he learns about friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas." This movie gives me chills, although the scene where the boy is walking on top of the train gives me anxiety. Lol. Show date and time is Saturday, December 28th 10:30am. Ticket are $5 and free for members and their kids.
