PSE&G Using Helicopters to Install New Lines Between Plainsboro and West Windsor
Incase you're wondering what's going on with the helicopters in the West Windsor/Plainsboro area, I received a Nixle alert that said on or about today, (Wednesday, January 29th), contractors for PSE&G will be using helicopters "to help install the MTB Transmisison line between the PSE&G Plainsboro Substation and a PSE&G transmission structure in West Windsor." Note...the schedule could be slightly adjusted.
You'll see the helicopters for about 4 days in West Windsor, from about 9am to 4pm. Of course, this depends on the weather.
Just to give you a heads up, there may be some temporary road closures during this time on Cranbury Road, Rabbit Hill Road, and Bernt Midland Blvd. in West Windsor. Police will be present to navigate traffic.
Residents were told, "PSE&G has secured the required permits and approvals from state and federal agencies, including the Federal Aviation Administration, and any other applicable state, municipal, county and regional agencies."
