The website WalletHub.com just published a list of 2020's Best State Capitals To Live In and Trenton has placed at the very bottom.

To come up with the list, WalletHub compared each state capital using "49 key indicators of affordability, economic well-being, quality of education and health, and quality of life."

WalletHub named Austin, TX the best state capital to live in, followed by Raleigh, NC, Madison, WI, Denver, CO, and Lincoln, NE.

Meanwhile, WalletHub says the worst state capitals to live in are Hartford, CT, Baton Rouge, LA, Carson City, NV, Charleston, WV, and of course, Trenton, NJ.

WalletHub says that Trenton is second only to Hartford when it comes to the highest percentage of the population living in poverty.  In addition, Trenton ranked last when it comes to the percentage of adults with a Bachelor's Degree or higher.
