Due to our busy lifestyles it can be difficult to find an ideal time to exercise every single day. Sometimes, we exercise early in the morning before work, or maybe in the evening after a stressful day at the office. Just so you know, there actually is a time of the day that is more effective to work out at.

According to the Journal Cell Metabolism, the best time of the day to exercise is mid-morning. Ugh! waking up so early stinks!

PhillyVoice.com mentioned that researchers at the University of California Irvine found out that, “Exercising at mid-morning results in more oxygen in the cells and and a more rejuvenating effect on the body."

If you really think about it, it make sense. Exercising in the morning should help you wake up and get you ready for the day.

But the fact that the best time to exercise is mid-morning can be inconvenient for those who go to work early in the morning. How are you supposed to exercise in the middle of your work day?

If you can change around your schedule to fit in a mid-morning exercise… great!

If not, you should be fine just keep doing what you’re doing.
