It is very interesting how multiple businesses in the City of Brotherly Love are willing to lose money for some time during the day because of kids. Multiple restaurants in the city have created signs for their front door letting all customers know that if you are under the age of 18 you are not allowed in. All of these signs have been created due to teenage crowds coming in after school and creating ruckus.

According to BillyPenn.com, Five Guys was one of the food spots that put the rule into play. A spokesperson mentioned that it is not illegal to have signs like those at your stores but its also something that they do not condone.

As previously mentioned, multiple businesses have decided to use this age restriction rule and some young kids have commented on the situation. BillyPenn.com stated that a 16-year-old, Zion Williams, said, "I see that as childish. There’s no point in doing all the dumb stuff."

Malls have even stated on their Code of Conduct rules that anyone that is under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. However, that rule doesn't start until after 1 pm.

We are yet to run into one of the businesses with these signs but it has been reported by Billy Penn that the City of Philadelphia doesn't approve of the practice of this new rule.
