Ride Through Great Adventure’s Safari Right From Home

This feels like a perfect time to bring back something great that I discovered last year.

Last February, I was searching for something totally unrelated on Google Maps and I came across a real treat.

Back in 2011, the Google Maps car took a drive through Great Adventure, including the iconic safari.

Thanks to that trip, we can enjoy the virtual tour of the Great Adventure safari for ourselves right now:

On a related note, earlier today the Six Flags Great Adventure team announced that due to the COVID-19 coronavirus, the opening of the park, including the safari and Hurricane Harbor, will be delayed until at least mid-May:
